So just when you started getting used to all the changes that were made to MS Office 2007, Microsoft are gearing up to launch their new Office suite, MS Office 2010.  The launch is set for early next year, and Microsoft have already realeased a testing version to a few select devlopers.

BRING ON FIBRE! Everyone's had Telkom internet issues - so the launch of the Seacom Fibre Optic cable will be welcomed with open arms.

The good news is, "Seacom is commercially launching its fibre optic cable on Thursday in South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Mozambique, linking Africa to Europe and Asia. " - Read the Reuters article below for more information.

So, Bing has now been public for 3 weeks, and already it is taking small bites out of Google's usage.
 
"Bing's launch bumped Microsoft's search share up to 11.1 percent last week from 9.1 percent the prior week, according to numbers released by market analyst ComScore."

Ok so Google wouldn't sell out to Microsoft, so Microsoft built their own Search Engine... cue in Bing.com!  Microsoft launched their Beta version of the search engine wordlwide today, and put together a $100 million, four-month advertising campaign to promote the site.  Have a look, and try it out... who knows, soon you'll be 'binging' things instead of 'googling'!
